I kept telling myself “No way am I doing a Project 52… or 365… or anything else that requires I shoot on a schedule…” mainly because I’ve ‘failed’ several 365 attempts in the past.
But then I got to thinking; I shoot personal images atleast once a week anyway, even through the busy season. So why not? And who cares if I don’t edit the images right away. I’ll post the weeks when I get a chance.
So one wintery, sunny day, I slid the camera strap around my neck when I noticed pretty light and just waited. The older boys were outside, and Rhett was happily making a nice big mess smack dab in the middle of all that pretty light. A photographer’s dream if I do say so myself.
So here we are — a few of my favorites from the first week of 2019. My littlest in all his glory… coloring on everything in sight (his body included), climbing on-around-under-atop, jibber-jabbering in his cute little undies, and pretending he’s in charge of course. :)
I loved this quote I came across…
We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential.
